Seattle rockers Sam Russell & the Harborrats just came out with a new video for their song “Born to Hurt”. It’s a cool video for a cool song. It was filmed in Pioneer Square, shot & edited by Joshua Devenere.
The video takes place at a wedding. There is dancing, and singing, and drinking, and drugs, and cake, and ghosts… whoops! I’ve said too much.
Now is a very good time for you to watch it. And while you do, be on the look out for yours truly. I’m in there. I play the part of the mopey lonely guy without a wedding date. A small but critical role.
Did you see me? My guess is no. Let me take this opportunity to point myself out to you. I appear exactly in eleven shots throughout the video (including the credits).
1.

There I am!
2.

The back of my head.
3.

The side of my head.
4.

My elbow is stealing the show!
5.

Look at my sweet dance moves!
6.

Here I am watching Sam dance. He also has sweet dance moves!
7.

Backs are so in right now.
8.

My shoulder is looking good.
9.

Dancing the night away.
10.

I won an Oscar for this shot.
11.

At least most of my name was spelled correctly.
It is really great to be a part of such a cool project. I had a blast. My only regret is that I should have eaten more cake.
