Shopping Day by Tennis Pro — Music Video

By November 28, 2014May 26th, 2015Seattle Music, video

One of the best things to ever come out of the ridiculousness of Black Friday is this song — Shopping Day by Tennis Pro. It is the first track from their album Are You There God? It’s Me, Tennis Pro which came out a few years ago and boy is it a doozy. This Black Friday tribute is filled with both laughs and tears, and features a brilliant string arrangement from their bass player Phil Peterson.

There are so many great lines in this song. Here are a two of my favorites

Don’t break my heart, I don’t want to cry on all the bargains

Let’s fight traffic not each other

The video was directed by John Jeffcoat. He’s the same guy who made Tennis Pro’s independent feature film Big In Japan.
