I’ve mentioned before that Mike Votava and The Dings Dongs are currently in the process of recording our first full-length album. We have twelve awesome songs filled with all the ding dong dongery goodness you would expect from The Ding Dongs.
I’m recording the whole thing myself at my studio (MJV Studios) and it is taking FOREVER to get done. However, it is getting closer to fruition every day. I’m working on it bit by bit. I hope it will be ready for release early next year. Then everyone can enjoy it, including you!
In the meantime, here is a little taste of what is to come. This track is called Two Thumbs Up. It’s one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written
This is not the final version of the song that will appear on the album. There is still some work to be done (it’s still a little rough). But I wanted to share the recording with you all anyway because I like you.
Oh, and by the way… you can hear us play this song and many others live at The Blue Moon this Friday night.
The show starts at 9pm. The Chris Poage Band and Silverhands will be there too!
