You should know that I am not above writing songs about things that are in my house.
I’ve done it plenty of times before (Ichiro Baseball Card, Mushroom Chair, Patrol Boat, Pizza Costume, Vegetable Clock).
And I just did it again.
Here’s a song about my Mr. T Bobblehead. It is called Bobblehead.
The recording is a little odd and slightly incomplete. Please forgive me. I wrote and recorded the whole stupid thing it in less than two hours time.
It ended up having a bit of an indie rock vibe to it.
If you like the way it sounds, then YES it was intentional.
If you don’t like the way it sounds, feel free to lick my crappy butt.
Now, I’m going to bed. Goodnight!
Bobblehead
By Mike Votava
One part is always bouncing around to the sound
above your neck sits no ordinary crown
I’m willing to be that I pity the fool is your favorite thought
split your dome with a very special type of hawk
Bobblehead
bobblehead
bobblehead has been bobbling tonight
The lower half is a pedestal holding down the fort
optimized for maximum bobble support
arms crossed over fifty thousand pounds of solid gold
stand there forvever, so I’m told
business on the bottom
party on the top
