Back in April I had the pleasure of performing with The Bushwick Book Club Seattle. We played original music inspired by Steve Martin’s Born Standing Up,one of my favorite books. It was an awesome event.

The best part about it was that for the rest of the night the audience would randomly heckle Geoff Larson while he was on stage (he was hosting the event). “Hey Glasses!” they would yell. “Nice glasses!” or “Hey Fart Fartson!” Every time it happened I would laugh and laugh. It was great.

Glasses (Geoff) was a good sport about the whole thing, as he always is about everything. He mentioned to me later that lot more people than normal came up and talked to him after the show. I guess my song made him seem more approachable. That’s the power of music for you!
